Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative who takes initiative and has a proven track record in sales and customer service. This is a full-time position in Oxnard at headquarters where you will report to the Director of New Business Development and work closely with the Lead Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate brings strong relationship building and project management skills to champion the sales process from initial contact to order completion.  With a passion for customer engagement and problem-solving, you will nurture existing accounts while identifying new opportunities, creating wins for the team, the customer, and the company.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in inside sales and account management or a similar role, with a track record of executing winning sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills with the natural ability to connect and deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to use digital communication tools effectively.
  • Tech-savvy proficiency with the full MS Office Suite.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, capable of working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team or independently.
  • Coachability and a continuous desire to learn.

Day-to-day as Inside Sales Representative:

  • Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide detailed information about products or services.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to order completion, including entering orders into sales systems and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain contact with customers to nurture relationships, address concerns, and provide proactive ongoing support to encourage repeat business.
  • Identify potential customers through research and marketing activities, determine their interest and capability to purchase, and present products or services using digital tools like video conferencing.
  • Perform minimum agreed-upon proactive outreach efforts such as phone calls, e-mails, and other prospecting activities.
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and results while providing regular performance reports in CRM.
  • Discover revenue-generating opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers.
  • Stay informed about the products and services offered, industry trends, and competitors to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs.
